33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours clear and golden deep amber/brown with a small white head. Breadish and light roasted malt aroma. Roasted malty flavoured with a light spice note. Goes into a more dry and roasted breadish flavour in the finish. Bitter and mild spiced feel in the flavour into the far finish.

Bottle, 7.2%. Vinous and caramelly aroma. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour is good and roasted, creamy and slightly sweet. Rough bitterness and good alcohol level balance of the sweetness well. Does not taste its ABV entirely, but still good.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and bread. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and some bread, leading to a dry finish where the alcohol tickles the tongue lightly.

(33cl bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a short off-white frothy layer. Molassy sweet and slightly roasted malt aroma with notes of caramel and Bavarian Blockmalz. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, quite smooth carbonation. Strong malt-accented molassy taste and a rather one-dimensional roast-malty finish with a very light level of hoppy and slightly burnt bitterness. Not particularly moreish and a tad too sweet for my liking (16.05.07).

Bottle - thanks pivnizub. Very light caramel aroma. Red chestnut, low cappucino head. Berrylike malt base, some nut and caramel additions. Extremely fast exit on a few metallic hops. Relatively lightbodied, slick mouthfeel.

Bottle (33cl): Amber coloured, small foamy layer, sweet aroma, full of molasses; robust sweet flavour, not really cloying; medium-bodied; light alcoholic notes in the sweet, slightly malty-bitter finish. A disappointing, quite uniforme brew.....
