Helle Farbe, Trübung für ein Weißbier eher leicht bis medium, gute Schaumentwicklung. Fruchtig (grüner und roter Apfel, etwas Zitrone), ein wenig Getreide, ein wenig Kräuter. Alles ein klein wenig „abgekocht“. Obwohl man gar nicht so viel Hefe zum Ausschütteln am Flaschenboden gefunden hat, spielt diese beim Geschmack eine, wenn nicht sogar d i e Hauptrolle. Sehr viel, wenn auch extrem feinperlige Kohlensäure. Macht das Bier sehr scharf, direkt kratzig. So kann mich das „Jurassic Weizen“ nicht so recht überzeugen. Schade.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange with a big fluffy head. Sourdough, zesty citrussy notes, unripe banana, estery notes, white wine, yeasty, bready. Dry sourness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry citrussy banana finish. Nice!

Jura Weizen hell, Flasche von Edeka, Kallmünz. - Dunkel goldgelb, klar - die Hefe klebt am Flaschenboden. - In der Nase schön süßes Weizenmalz, milde Aprikose, zarte Kräuter. - Antrunk satt weizenmalzig mit fülliger, mild karamelliger Süße, ausbalanciert durch milde Fruchtigkeit: etwas Aprikose, Trockenobst. Zarter säuerlicher Touch. Milder rezent, hefeweich. Im Abgang sehr milde kräuterige Herbe. - Schlichtes aber schönes Weizenbier.

0.5l bottle. It’s odd, but it’s crystal clear after the first pour. After I swirled the bottle and poured the last drop out of it, it has become hazy though. Classic weizen character with notes of banana, cloves, honey and some bread. The finish has a bit of lemony sourness to it. A bit weak bodied, but otherwise nice.

Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Yeasty aroma. Starts mild, dry, malty, more and more yeasty. Fruity notes of apricot. Finish again milder, could be more fruity. Okay.

Cloudy yellow golden colour, a lot of bubbles, large frothy white head, good retention, good lacing. Aroma is wheat, banana, caramel, yeast, coriander, citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light sour, wheaty, fruity, light toffee, spicy notes. Light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, aftertaste is sweet ’n sour, finishes with a tad of bitterness, overall a fresh and pleasant Weizen.

50cl bottle. BBE 19.02.15. Pours golden, slightly hazy, thick white head. OK lacing. Wheaty aroma with banana and candy. Flavor has sweet banana, slight soury crispiness, whatever that means, smooth wheat finish. Pleasant hefeweizen, refreshing. Light to medium bodied.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Brotig-hefig-milder Geruch. Der Antrunk ist süßlich-neutral. Zum Hauptteil kommt ein leichtes Hefearoma hinzu mit einer leichten frischen Säuerlichkeit. Insgesamt aber macht das Bier einen etwas wässrigen Eindruck. Auch macht es einen etwas flachen Eindruck. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang anhaltend, ein Bißchen hopfig-blumig, was irgendwie gar nicht zu dem Bier passt. Dabei etwas hefig muffig und weizen-typisch süßlich.
--> Kein schlechtes Weizen, aber auch nichts Herausragendes!
