Lys gul tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter kattepiss, på en god måte, vanilje, sydhavsfrukt og blomster. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Smaker grapefrukt og noe lys stenfrukt. Middels lang

500ml can, thanks to Finn for sharing. Hazy grey-golden body under a stable white head, fair lacing. Moderate ripe citrus aromas. Moments of orange and lemon to the taste buds, doughy malts beneath. Mid-sweet malt-fruity finish. Medium bodied. Fair enough. (Tromsø, 29.03.2025).

Årets første sykkeltur langs Gandsfjorden brakte meg på forunderlig vis til Melkebaren, hvor jeg måtte gå planken: uklar blekgul med fint skum som varer. Overmodne appelsiner, tropiske frukter og litt urter. God maltkropp og fin bitterhet i avslutningen.

Can. A mild haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Soft pale malts bring an mild fluffy creamy sweetness. An eclectic quartet of hops, old skool Comet, hardly seen Cashmere and Wai-Iti and brand new superstar Nectaron! And rather a good band they make! Soft cooling pine into a decent and slightly savoury lemony streak, dash of lime but lemon is the boss. Back end brings modest melon, a trace of black pepper and soft, slightly floral stone fruits. Finishes smooth and slightly bitter. Different! Different by choice of hops and brewing skills. You can still do an APA in 2024 and make it stand out through judicious hop usage. Super.
