500ml bottle at Blackfriars restaurant, Newcastle. Clear amber colour, white foam head and grassy aroma. Taste is malty, some grain, slightly bready & fruity, with grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry lingering fruity bitter finish. Quite OK.

50cl bottle thanks to John Brash. Appearance - a darker golden than expected. Decent head retention. Nose - cornflakes with just a hint of green beans. Taste - more green beans and pale malt but just a touch of cardboard, though I’m not sure it’s an off taste. It’s more like a note that culminates from the combination of hops and malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a long dry finish. Overall - not bad, quite solid really.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy golden with a rough white head. Malty, lightly flowery nose. Medium body, lightly sweet malts, again flower notes and a dry finish. I didnt really expect much from a British take on a Bohemian pilsener, but this is actually very decent. 221108

Bottle, 4.6%. Slightly bready aroma. Hazy golden colour, very small white head. The flavour starts off with OK maltiness. Has a little bread and clean citrus aftertaste.
