Bottle. Dark brown to medium brown with a medium sized, tan head. Aroma and taste is like a Hersey bar. Love this beer.

Bottle from 504 Craft Beer Reserve, New Orleans. Aroma is cocoa powder, artificial milk chocolate, caramel toffee and a touch of vanilla, with a little roast. Flavour is very sweet with a little bitterness. Body is medium. Picked this up for curiosity value. Very high in powdery chocolate like Nesquick, artificial.

Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier. Alez pachnie pralinkami, truflami w czekoladzie, w smaku wszystkie czekoladki z roznych bombonierek, torcik wedlowski, wanilia, pierniki i nawet nutella. Ciemne geste piwo z bezowa srednia piana, szkoda ze malo trwala. Bardzo fajny deserek. For end: Dead get's me.

Bottle purchased in Corsica. Very black pour, brown head that doesn't last long. Amazing bittersweet chocolate aroma fills the glass. Flavor is full of chocolatey malt and cocoa; no heavy roast covering it all up. Hints of cinnamon. If the ingredients are to be believed, it's a Reinheitsgebot beer - if so, major props for this chocolate flavor from barley alone!

330ml bottle at my Son-in-Laws place in California on 1st Feb 2017. Jet black body, wispy collar of tight tanned bubbles. Intense chocolate aroma and taste: some coffee esters and flavours, some Ice Cream Vanilla like touches too, a proper Choc Ice beer. Smooth body feel, a bit oily and slick actually, a lot thicker than a 5% Stout normally is anyway. Overall I thought this interesting and different: liked it.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, slightly artificial, chocolately aroma, notes of milk chocolate, a peppery spicy touch of chili. Taste is chocolately malty, notes of dark chocolate, a minimally artificial vanilla touch of hundreds and thousands, a cautious peppery spicy touch of chili; minimally metallic finish, slightly watery passages. The antipole to Stone’s Xocoveza Mocha Stout.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Black with a thin off-white bubbly head. It has both a heavy chocolate taste and aroma, and pleasant in both aspects, although a tad thin.
