Bottle from a gift box - many thanks to mom & dad for bringing it & to the brewer for gifting it! Pours clear dark golden with an unstable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of banana peel, freshly cut ripe apple, honey, flowers, bread dough, moist pepper, vague coriander. Taste has sweetish banana, apple & pineapple, supported by honey malt, sour accent of citrus & wheat in the back, bitter spices going into the dryish, floral hoppy finish, subtle phenols releasing but sweet esters have the final say. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Basic Saison profile is there but it misses some 'wildness'.
