Bottled. Clear red colour, small creamy. Very sweet cherry aroma. Sweet cherry flavour with some bitterish notes in finish. Cherry aftertaste. Carbonation tickles tongue a bit much, otherwise very good.

2003 bottle. Pours a light red/pink body, clear, but there is dark sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Small fizzy white head. This one missed the boat and then some. First thing that comes to mind is artificially sweet cherry medicine. But then there is a trace of cherry pits in the aroma. Flavor is moderately sweet, with a hint of tartness on the end, I wouldnt go as far as to say sour even, just lightly tart. No interesting yeast notes, no funk, just cherries with a lightly tart background. Not syrupy, but then, it’s also a bit too thin.

8Oz Bottle Pours a cloudy orange brown, with not much of a head, but maintained some good lacing. Not what I was expecting for a cherry Lambic. Aroma is a very nice sweet cherry/apple. Just like a cherry lifesaver in apple cider. The flavor is very different. Sharp harsh, bitter. I’m not sure it’s supposed to taste lke this. Sour, vinigary lively carbonation, dissapointing.

Red color. Quite simple but enjoyable, with some sweetness deriving from the cherry syrup.

The aroma is powerful cherries, and slightly sweet - but contains no sourness - a little weird for a kriek. The color is an unclear dark red and it has a beutiful pink head. The flavor is dominated by cherry, and it is pretty sweet. It has no sourness nor metallic notes as krieks often have. Though it ends on a very slight metallic note instead of bitterness. This is not a kriek, but a cherry sodapop - is that because I had it from keg?

Thick, fast disappearing white-pinkish foam. cardinal-red, clear beer. Breath-taking smell of cherry sweets/gums, overtly sweet. Hard cherry gums again in the taste, not really fruity. Slight acidity at the tonguesides. Light to medium-bodied, impression of fruit juice. Aftertaste carries most of the acidity. This is better and the only sign of a real fruit beer. It may not be complete disaster - it comes near enough. All the more a shame as the regular Bios is quite a nice old brown.

Beautiful red colour. Pinkish white head. Big cherry aroma. Nice cherry-stone bitter flavour. Very drinkable and not too sweet.

A mix of two thirds two year old lambic and one third oud bruin, cherries added. Red-brown. Balsamic with balanced sweetness, with fresh, tart cherry flavour. Tasy and interesting, but perhaps a bit sweet in the long run.
