25 cL bottle. Pours hazy hazzlenut brown with a diminished light brown head. Brett acidic towards a citric aroma with a slight sweetness. Flavour holds a subdued sweetness beneath a solid fruity acidity. Leads into a nice fruity dry finish with a soft acidity.

[Cherish bottle] Aroma of cherry, with a slight sour component. Color of ripe apricot with a white head that’s hardly present. Starts with a combination of cherry, sweet and sour. Very well balanced. Carbonation is low. Mouthfeel develops well with swishing.

First rating(25 cl bottle at Rotary Pub, Göteborg) Clear cherry red color, big pink head. Sweet cherry scent, mix of sour cherry and the bitter seed. Rather sour cherry taste, a bit sweet to begin with and ends a bit bitter seedy, but dominating sour. Medium mouthfeel, a bit puckering. Low bitterness, sweet aftertaste.8/4/7/3/15=3.7Rerate(25 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg)On July 24, 2008BB 28/01/10 Clear dark red color, nice creamy pink head. sweet, sugary and perfumy scent, also cherries and almond paste. Very sweet, with sugar but a sour-candy sourness as well. There is some sourness in the flavor. This is a simple, sweet kriek, and not bad at all for what it is. Red with short head.

I had this on tap at the Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Pittsburgh, thanks to mtoast. This has got to be one of the best places to get a beer tasting experience. This brew pours with a reddish orange fruity looking purple hue that is pleasing to the eye. Has a very nice and attractive pinkish head. Overall, this is a great looking brew. Has the aroma of cherries but I must say this is not like the overwhelming aroma of the Cherish Raspberry, it is more laid back. Fruity well behaved smell yes, but not excessive. Ooooooo, the taste of this stuff is simply divine. Like creamy almost sour cherries. I really like the flavor of this stuff. Has a cherry creamy carbonation that is enjoyed, like that of fine fruity champagne. You must taste this to really get an idea of the flavor that I cannot put into words. I imagine kings, queens and other royalty regularly requesting this kind of beer. Finish is sweet, but not overly sweet. Very enjoyable nothing like it, except perhaps their raspberry Cherish. Just plain simply very, very nice. There is not a hint of alky in this brew what so ever, just cannot detect it.

Bottle. Smells like cherry syrup mixed with sour milk. Cloudy brownish-red color with very slight head. Light cherry Kool-Aid flavor initally that is stopped by a quick bitter metallic flavor and ends with a watered down sour/musty flavor like a watered down gueuze. Too sweet for a traditional lambic and too poorly blended to be enjoyed by those who like sweet fruit lambics.

Dark red colour with orange highlights. Smells like Vick’s cough drops. Very sugary, candy cherryish aroma. There is some tartness, but also a massive cloying cherry candy overtone. Not my thing.

Bottle. Purple-red color with a slightly pinkish head. Big cherry aroma with slight dust. Very fruity aroma. Fruity cherry flavor with some sweetness and a bit of sourness and dusty undertones. Not bad. Nice and refreshing.

Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Clear deep red colour, pinkish head. Aroma is overwhelming sour and sweet cherries. Flavour is one-dimensional of not very good sour cherries, generally sour & sweet with a tart finish. Sour aftertaste that lasts "forever", paralysed my tastebuds for a long time.

(Bottle 25 cl) The aroma of cherries is overwhelming, as soon as the cap comes off. And the cherries are -to put it mildly- quite evident in the flavor as well. I refuse to believe that the flavor can be this intense without the addition of artificial flavors or at least a concentrate. Light brown and hazy with a reddish tint. Almost no head. The same brewery makes a beer with almost the same label called "Vlaamse Bourgogne. A "Vlaams Bruin"-type. With it’s hint of iron this beer is probably the base of "Bios Kriek". 020304
