Time-honoured and treasured. Lord Nelson reserved the best on board, safely stowed in the Captain’s cabin. Enjoy an unreservedly special bounty. Plentiful sweet fruit flavours come together to create a complex and undeniably satisfying sip.

Cask at the Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall. Not much going on with this - amber gold with a thin cream head; no noticable aroma; grainy body, sweet fruity flavour; and no real finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Orangeish amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready and caramelly malty along with some slight fruityness, sap, wood and mild syrupy notes as well. Flavour is quite similar, but has a very nice underlying bitterness, which gives the beer a nice kick in the finish. Smooth and pleasant.

Orange-amber head, very slight haze; creamy, amberish head, irregular, going down lacey. Nose of caramel, toffee... and mint. Hops as in noble. Outspoken bitter taste. Spicy and bitter hops. Bit of burnt caramel. Medium-bodied. Bitterness keeps hanging around, but finish yields again some sweeter malts, taste of sugared fruits. Nice. 's Got a bite, but a tad unrefined.
