Sample from 50 cl. bottle. 2005 "vintage" - B.B. 2008. Muddy, dark amber with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel and roasted malts, faint smoke, coffee, light diacetyl/butter notes. Has not aged well: No fruitiness and the smoke has almost faded. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture. Short, sweet finish with light smoked notes. As other wheat beers, not meant for keeping.

Bottled. Very deep ambery brown colour, small beige head. Gets hazy brown with yeast in. Aroma is chocolate, nuttyness, and caramel. Flavour is chocolate, cookies, nuts and mild spices. Far from dunkelweizen, but still pleasant.

Bottled (BB 09/2010)
Dark nutty brown color, small beige head. Chocolaty, yeasty aroma, also some vegetables. Some tobacco, cold coffee and vegetables in the flavor. Also light banana notes. Quite thin for being dunkelweizen. Odd too ...

Bottle at EsBF09. Mild yeasty and spicy aroma. No head. Mild roasted flavour, a bit of yeast. OK malty. Rough carbonation. Tastes like a standard German Dunkelweizen, but with a rougher carbonation.
