From tap at Utrechtse Bierbrouwersfestival 2016. Aroma is lots of oak, whiskey, roasted malt, booze, touch of vanilla, some coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is full, slightly creamy. Good!

Pours a pitch black colour and a smale dense brown head with little retention. Aroma's: big peat, sour fruit, smoke, leather, roast. Retronasal there's lots of fruit/berries, roast, peat. Flavour is light moderate sweet, somewhat fruity sour and roasty moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Long finish with roast, ash, moderate bitter.

33cl Bottle from Uiltje Taproom. Black colour, thin but dense beige head. Aroma of earth, soft peaty notes, some liquorice, wood, molasses, roasted malts. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, roasted malts, liquorice, molasses, quite fruity, blackberries, soft earthy peat, wood, a bit of booze, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied, feels a bit thin actually. Soft carbonation. Decent, expected a bit more tbh.

Bottle shared. Almost black with bubbly light brown head. Lots of coffee, raw cocoa beans, ashy, roasted barley, slight smoked scotch, vanilla, brandy, brown sugar. It’s quite rough and boozy but has some nice notes. Over medium sweet with alcoholic bitterness. Medium bodied with slick alcoholic feel. Rough but nice.

Tap @ UBF 2016, small sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of roast, choc, bit cookie, slight peat, bit oak wood. Not as much barrel as usually with bunna, which for me is a good thing. Bit sweet in taste, roasty bitterness, bit vanilla, bit oak, slight peat. Nice.
