Crisp clear and lightly golden coloured body with a nice peach and light orange glow and a sliver of an off-white head - very nice. Aroma of lightly earthy and pungent bitter hops with a dose of citrusey and more resinous notes from the alpha acids and a smooth, but noticeable alcohol scent towards the end. Medium-bodied; Strong rich malt flavours at first dominate with a ton of yeast and alcohol on the edges, but the hops come through in a large way with a good balance of a traditional IPA or even more of a West Coast IPA that shows more pungent alpha acids and flavours from the hops in a good way. Aftertaste is rich and deep with a good balance, a bunch of hay and dry notes, but the fresh resinous and pungent hops dominate, especially at the end. Overall, a very nice traditional IPA that shows a lot of hops and flavours from them with a nice and balanced malt characteristic and a light sweetness from fruits, but fairly understated in comparison to the hops/malt. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, given to me by the GM of the brewery after a hockey game here in Arlington, Virginia in June 2019 - Thanks Erik!

16oz can pours a very murky orange with some creamy white head. Nose has orange, mango, grapefruit, honey, oats, soap. Flavor is nice, well balanced, citrus with orange and tangerines, a little tropical with mango and pineapple, soapy, some malt and honey. Full bodied, sticky finish. 8 4 7 4 15
