From cask at Crosse Keys. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light herbal hoppy. Smooth mild hoppy. Fruity. Crisp bitter. Lingering mild fruity. Smooth fruity into a light bitter finish.

Cask at the Happy Man, Englefield Green, 18/06/13. Clear golden blonde with a white head that retains well. Nose is hops, citrus, light grapefruit, jammy fruits, Taste comprises light tropicals, orange, toasted malt, hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Decent stuff, had this down as a golden blonde myself when rating it.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Bright straw with a thin white head; citrus aroma; thick and grainy body with a strong, sweet, grapefruit flavour that lingers to gives a sustained drying finish. Rather good.

cask at bow bar ... light amber ... creamy off white head ... golden amber ... soft sweet hop ...fairly bright nose ... juicy hop ... some orange ... fresh clean ... soft but quitehoppy ... not in face but still quite hoppy ... nice

[Cask at the William Robert Loosley (JDW), Wycombe] Light amber, negligible white head, no carbonation. Fruity malt throughout, but very watery. Bitter finish. It’s like someone has taken a rich, strong ESB and watered it down, then added bittering hops. Not great, in other words.

Cask @ Blackfriars. Clear dark golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, slightly malty. Flavour is hoppy, citrus, fruity, a bit malty. Refreshing and well drinkable.

Guest cask at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford on April 29, 2009. Excellent, refreshing ale, a little above session strength but highly quaffable nevertheless. Hoppy, bitter and flavoursome in many other subtle directions, with fruity notes in the finish.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty slightly hoppy flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 19/11/08. Deep golden in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of summer fruits with plenty of citrus hops. Flavour was well-balanced, with some biscuit malts, fruitiness and plenty of juicy hops, leading to a nice dry finish. Highly drinkable.
