Cask at GBBF08. Nice roasted aroma. Almost black colour. The flavour is roasted with a hint of smoke. Roasted and fruity aftertaste. Light body. A good mild.

Cask at GBBF 08. Roasted malt aroma. some dark fruits, bit of damson. OK mild, needs a bit of condition. Good roasted malts though. Quite intense for a mild.

Dark brown with tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes. Good sweet roasted finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/1/08. Very dark brown with reddish hints and a decent tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma with some earthy hops. Bitter chocolate and red fruit flavour, with a dry finish. Good.

Cask@GBBF2007. Very dark amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is big malts, hops and earth. Flavour is spices, malty and hoppy. Slight dark fruits and red berries are also present. Quite a nice one.

Dark brown with a small, but lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma with some toffee and biscuit. Dry and slightly roast flavour.

Good mild apprearance with a dark body and a strong head. Very watery plain flavour and aroma. Overall a beer with a nice appearance with fairly standard other elements.
