(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 7 Aug 2010) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with nuts, raisins and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with notes of dark fruit, nuts, brown sugar and dusty hops in the finish. Rather light body, fairly sweet. Decent but not very exciting.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 18/07/09. Apparently Mudskipper is normally cloudy, but this example was a lovely clear red/amber with next to no head. A fairly one dimensional bitter with plenty of fruity malt and a short finish. Ok.
