An array of European hops feature in this fantastic beer, crafted from maize, wheat and barley malts. It all adds up to one of our most popular session beers; really pale with a huge aromatic punch.

Cask pint in the Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 17th April 2016. Light golden pour with a full white head. Floral nose and flavour: sun was shining, suited the beer. Nothing overpowering or strong to be found here: subtle nose and taste. Refreshing more than tasty, but decent enough for a Sunday lunchtime throwing beer.

On handpump at Tree Folk’s pub in Rome-Italy, with luttonm. Pours a proper golden semi-filtered color, tick creamy white foam. Nose: lemony and slightly yeasty. Mouth: soft yeast note, frizzy lemony skin feel, bread crumb, grains. Average!

Golden coloured body with a super-thin white head and almost no movement at all! Bright aroma of citrus, malt and a very small amount of hops. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong citrus flavour right away with a subtle hop bitterness and a pungent maltiness. Aftertaste has a little alcohol noticeable, but a mostly mild and mellow beer. Overall, a nice beer, but not amazing, good to try though! I sampled this beer on cask at The Market Porter in Borough, London, England on 11-March-2008.

Bottle, Tesco, Slough. Poured a piss like gold, vanishing head. Grassy, citrus aroma and flavour. Muted hop. Dryish finish. Thin, wishy washy and overall somewhat unsatisfying. Neeext.

[Cask at the Hop Leaf, Reading] Pours a very pale gold with a small but lasting head. Tastes of damp straw and green leaves with a hint of bitter citrus. Some sharpness too. Aftertaste iis very dry and bitter, too much so for my liking. Wouldn’t have this again.
