Bottle bought at Chopin Airport and consumed at home. Copper, clear. Raisin aroma with honey, figs. Tastes incredibly sweet, with a tempering tangy vinous sourness near the finish. Thick, full body. Very very drinkable.

250ml ceramic bottle waxed and corked. Doskonaly miod ciemnawy brazowawy z lekko poswiata czerwieni. Miod lipowy w nozdrzach wyczuwalny, slodycz spora ale nie przesadna, taka szlachetna i naturalna. Wyczuwalne korzenne smaki, przyprawy oraz ziola ale trudne dla mnie do zidentyfikowania. Finisz goracy i rozgrzewajacy. Pieknie sie lepi w kieliszku. Fajna buteleczka. Czas lezakowania (9 lat tu oddal wszystko co w nim drzemie). Dzbaneg gliniano ceramiczny z uchem oraz sznureczkiem nawiazuje do starej metody garncarskiej. Polecam bardzo.

So difficult for me to figure out, this foreign language. Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Very rich in color, for a mead. Quite dark, almost dark brown like in a beer. Rather strong and rude forward smell. Alarming to the olfactory. wew, first taste is high alky, even for a wine. Borders on the effect that liquors have on my palate. Mouth coating cough medicine with sugar. Volatile, don’ light a match!

Ceramic bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Hazy orangey brown. Very nutty nose, marzipan notes. Full-bodied, sweet honey, brown sugar and nuts with some underlying and vaguely oxidized Sherry notes. Pleasant. 050211

Rerate 2015, bottle from Stanpol, Warswa, hard to belive my rating score is still the same. ------- RBWG’10 another cheers to Cheeseman for opening this one. pours almost burgundy, no head. Aroma of nice sweet herbal and honey goodness. Flavors, lots of herbal goodness adding a lingering fresh honey mesh of herbs and sweetness with a touch of wood barrel. Golden delicious, thick, coating sweetness, enjoyable oak finish. Incredible how they incorporated the herbs in this one. Have yet to be disappointed by anything Pasieka has made. This is some solid mead. 9-4-9-5-18 Initial 03/18/2010.
