Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Appearance is cloudy light brown/dark orange with obvious dark brown floaters, fair sparkle and finger-width foamy beige head with good retention and sticky lacing. Aroma is citrusy, pine, over fruit and malt base. Taste is earthy mix of malt and fruit with bitter pine and citrus. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and bitter finish. Overall, more of a mix of hops and malts than a lot of varieties. OK but not special.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a decent hazy amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds.
The smell had the malts up front with a super light piney/spicing in the background.
The taste was mainly sweet through the malts and the hops maintained their distance.
On the palate, this sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability.
Overall, not a bad IPA as it could be construed closer to the English side of IPA’s.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color. Big fluffy white head. Light toasted malt aroma with a touch of spicy hops. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has a touch of sourness in the palate. Very nice malt backbone, but a touch lacking in the hops. Overall, a decent tasting ale that just misses on the hops you expect in an IPA.

Draft @ brew pub. Standard pint glass showed amber and light hazy with small and white head. Aroma contained basic hop flavors, pine and grapefruit. Little malt for balance. Overall it’s a very simple, standard IPA. Tastes like they used English malts and leans on the English side of the style. No problems to report.

Pours a slightly hazy red orange color with a pillowy white head that sticks around for a bit. Smells of citrus, I pick up tangerines, some mineral aromas and some brown sugar and caramel. Taste is malty, mineraly, with a slight citrus hop bite. Some sweet malt is there with more of that brown sugar coming through. Leaves a lingering hop and mineral bite in the dry finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin as is the body. The carbonation is a bit on the low side I think. Not a bad brew, but their are certainly better IPA’s out there. This one while not flawed is simply unremarkable.
