Cask gravity at Battersea BF 09. Only slightly better than the In the Dark from the same brewery. Copper colour, a disappointing bitter.

Cask. Cloudy dark amber colour. Very small white head. Citric and buttery aroma, not a good sign. The flavour is sour and infected.

Cask. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits and wood. Flavour much the same along with some caramel and berries.Refreshing, but a bit boring.

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London 27 Apr 2007) Amber colour with brief off-white head. Malty, nutty taste with notes of citrus (orange, mandarin) and fruity hops. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange, nuts and generous amounts of earthy hops in the finish. Nice and refreshing.
