330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber to chestnut colour with weak ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Toasty, nutty, malty aroma, hints of Brazil nut, dark hazelnut, whiffs of dark honey. Taste is toasty, minimally nutty, caramel malty without residual sweetness and piney hoppy, hints of Brazil nut, dark hazelnut, some pine; lingering, dry finish.
Oily-watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Clean, simple - not that exciting.

Bottle. Color: Red copper, large frothy beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Dark malt, roasted malt notes, caramel, some raisins, quite strong grassy and spicy hop backbone. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate sweet and light to moderate bitterness. Light coffee hints at the dry-ish and bittery finish. Ok.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before May 2024. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity, minimally grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, raisins and some leaves. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, grains, nuts, leaves and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Alt, nowhere near the top examples from D'dorf though.
