500ml bottle, a gift from a friend: BB May 2026, drank at my parents house on 3rd January 2024. Brewery claims this is an IPA (front label clearly has it written, just above 'Gorgeously Hoppy Pale Ale'). Clean and clear golden body, deep white crown of bubbles. Hop bitter with a good malty backbone, no citrus fruits were harmed in making this beer.

500ml bottle from Hambleton. Gluten Free. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of malt, citrusy, zesty, hop. Taste is malt, caramel, biscuit, with citrus, and woody, tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from the Real Ale Warehouse. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Light lemon and pale malt aromas. Taste is more lemon, a hint of lime too. Fresh orange. Light chalky aftertaste.

Slightly lively, clear yellow beer with a white frothy head. Aroma is tangy, lemony citrus. After that the taste is mellower than expected. Lemony hop, bittersweet and with a slightly savoury, biscuit-y edge. It’s a fairly bland golden bitter but it’s solid enough.

Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Light malts, mildly sweet, thin cream. Modest grapefruit and a little orange. Trace of citric peel. Crisp semi dry finish. Nicely balanced and pretty drinkable.

50cl bottle from BeerCity, batch 2731, BB 11/2012.
