Cask-conditioned at the Hillgrove Porter Stores, Bristol 7/08/10. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish, malty and marmalade brew, with some decent, citrus hops in the finish. Ok.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern on 21st July 2009. Amber with short-lived off white head. Citric hops in main kick, otherwise on the sweet side. Quite a viscous, clingy texture with a feeling that the beer wanted to "glue" itself to the roof of the mouth.

Half pint, cask in prime condition and served at the right drinking temperature at The Castle, Holborn. Slightly cloudy amber in body colour. Just a line of bubbly head. Sweet malt-fruity to the nose. Fruity hops to the flavour with malts beneath, ending with a bitter twist. Smooth. Typical for the style (London, 03.08.2009).
