Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Deep amber with a thin creamy head; fruity, citrus aromas; orange flavours, starting with a short bitter burst, then becoming more fruity, developing a marmalade-like finish.

Cask@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Dark copper brown, small creamy off-white head. Sweet caramelly, hoppy nose. Hoppy, more than in an average British bitter. Kind of toasty flavor too.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Colour is amber to copper. Nice, fruity nose with citrus (grape fruit), malt and hops. Fruity, malty taste with citrus and a hint of toffee. Long bitter, hoppy finish. Not really complex but a well balanced, hoppy bitter.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Amber colour. Generously flowery nose. Dryish and intensely hoppy with delicate, soft malt profile and a lingering, resiny hop bitter finish. Flavourful and well balanced.
