Sample courtesy of Grumbo via SHIG, cheers! Aroma of caramel, herbs, malted milk biscuits, and toffee. Taste of greenery, malts and light carbonation. Slightly bitter finish. Not bad.

Taste comprises fruit cake, light hedgerow, herb, biscuit, light tobacco, nutty. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good bitter edge. Decent quaffable bitter.

Can: Poured an amber to brown with a two finger fast dissipating tan head. Aroma is rich malty, light chocolate, hoppy. Taste is bitter hops, roasted malts, citrus, lingers around the palate. Can says American Brown Ale, could damn well be a Black IPA from the taste.
