In our second release, Grapelogy Triple Grape Ale, we used Rkatsiteli grapes, lovingly grown in Odessa.

Десятки блакитних, крихітних метеликів злітають з-під сандалів, а дорога все звивається між виноградників. Десь попереду - море.
У нашому другому релізі Grapelogy Triple Grape Ale ми використовували виноград сорту Ркацителі, любовно вирощений в Одесі.
В ароматі білий виноград, садові фрукти, ваніль, легкі квіткові тони. Профіль трохи кислуватий, досить сухий і відчутно зігріваючий.
Ми б його радили пити не дуже холодним, з грузинськими солонуватими сирами або навіть хачапурі, фруктами і холодним пряним м'ясом.

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Clear pale orangy color, no head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, softly light sour fruity hint. Hard to describe properly. 7-6-6-6-6

375ml bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours a misty gold, white head. Prominent red grape presence here with a hint of schloer about it.. moderately sweet.., medium to light bodied with a mild malty base. Nicely presented juicy grape ale.

Little cloudy to clear red brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: malty up front, grains, hay, yeasty, a little fruity as well. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, lemony, white grapes, a bit yeasty, bready, some raisins. Aftertaste: little bitter, sourish, lemony touch. Ok.

Une base de triple belge présentant un ajout d’un cépage géorgien (souvent repris comme le plus vieux cépage au monde) mais cultivé également dans certaines parties de l’Ukraine.
Couleur dorée/pâle, col fin blanc.
Arôme sur un bouquet marqué par son nez belge de triple, je retrouve de fins effluves d’esters fruités – ces derniers sont un peu plus sur le devant et de fait diminuent l’apport fruité du raisin avec un léger bouquet floral.
Palais conserve une approche belge de triple, repris surtout dans le côté ester – finement sur la banane. Le tout est complété par un léger apport fruité du raisin qui tend à conférer des pointes délicates fruitées mais sans pour cela avoir un impact aromatique franc pouvant rappeler un côté pomme verte / fruits verts ainsi que floral – c’est là aussi le point faible de ce cépage qui se retrouve souvent dans des blancs ou alors mélangés à d’autres raisins.
