Bottle. Weak citric aroma. Cloudy golden colour, a little floaties. Very small white head. Thin mouthfeel for wheat beer. The flavour is dominated by medium bitterness and some yeast. Hint of fruit in aftertaste.

Bottle. Frothy white fair fully deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Week aroma. No yeast og anything to make me think it is a Witt. Bitter flavor, average finish. Very watery. Strange brew.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful deep orange, no head and almost no carbonation. Completely lacking any wheat character and has an unpleasant tang. Close to horrible. I’d prefer to believe that this is off, but with Refsvindinge you never know - this might be how it was intended? Brewmaster John Nielsen uses thyme instead of coriander. 160203

Honeyish malt and yeasty berrylike aroma (from english yeast?) Cloudy yellow, no head. Peppery unpleasant flavor - weird, it tastes a bit like they used the same yeast as in the ale no.16. Watery finish. This is not good - My last Wit was better as well :-)

Cloudy light amber color; flat. Some white sugar and malt nose; yellow apples. Some body, but poor characteristics, and being flat it's hard to appreciate… Quite strong palate.

An unclear orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges. The flavor is thin and slightly sweet in the beginning, then slightly wheaty with notes of oranges and no bitterness. A below average wheat beer - too thin and boring.

Sampled draught at the Danish Beer Festival.
Yellow incolour, really cloudy. Unusual oily aroma with notes of oranges. Malty with balanced sweetness and some toffee. Unusual and well balanced. One of my favourite beers at the festival!
