A Hoppy, Toffee Tangle of Flavour. This is a light bodied beer with a rich toffee caramelised sweetness complemented by packs of English Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops to give a refreshing bitterness expected from an IPA. All ingredients are grown in the UK and at just 4% this beer packs a lot of flavour and is a sublime session IPA.

A malt forward Pale Ale with a great hop taste too. Lovely mouthful. Strikes me as more of a ordinary bitter than a pale. But a very good ordinary bitter.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 19th April 2025. Clear copper with shallow, yellowy white foam and full lacing. Some pungent notes in a malty aroma. Hazelnut nuttiness in-mouth, some tangy fruits and a satisfying nutty malt finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. Superb.

Gravity cask at Pig’s Ear 2024 - Hackney. Pours faintly hazed copper with a tight, creamy off-white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of toasted grains, a little brown bread, light leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Toasted malts to finish, accents of leaves and earth. Not bad.
