Husbryggeriet Jacobsens bud på en rigtig nordisk forårsøl.
Den forholdsvis høje alkoholprocent, den distinkte slovenske Styrian Golding humle, og ikke mindst den beroligende duft af jasmin fra Skovmærke ekstrakt giver øllet en frugtig aroma. Aromaen er distinkt humlet med hint af grapefrugt, fyrrenåle, karamel og jasmin. Øllet er middel fyldigt med en lang blød bitterhed.
English: Brewhouse Jacobsen’s bid for a truly Nordic forårsøl. The relatively high alcohol content, the distinctive Slovenian Styrian Golding hops, and not least the soothing scent of jasmine from Woodruff extract gives the beer a fruity aroma. The aroma is distinctive hoppy with hints of grapefruit, pine, caramel and jasmine. The beer is bulky agent with a long soft bitterness.

Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is hint of banana, sweet, yeast. Flavour is sweet, yeast, alcohol, spices, malt, apple. Medium to full body. Ordinary / OK beer.

0.75 cl bottle. Dark orange body with off-white head. Strange marzipan aroma and flavour that ruins the beer for me. Might have been a bad beer.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of woodroff and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, woodroff, and dusty hops, leading to a dry spicy and slightly bitter and bready finish.

bottle, tasting in tivoli, cph. aroma is piney, citrussy, a little faint sugar. pours clear red, white foam, flavor is caramel, grapefruit, flowers, sunburned beer. very soft and slightly oily palate nice experimental beer. it actually tastes a little bit like a forest, more interesting than good though. still - refreshing.

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Deep golden. Aroma of grainy malt. Sweetish flavor, a bit malty, with some graininess and some sugar. Light to medium body.

Clear amber color, small creamy beige head, some lace. Some passion fruit and pine in the aroma. Tropical fruits, pine needles .. fruity and tasty, kind of liquerish. I liked it, maybe the best or at least the most interesting one so far from Jacobsen line.

Pale amber coloured, medium sized beige head, perfumy flowery nose. Malty, perfumy fruity and pine taste with light spicy yeasty notes. Mild bitterness.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is pine, fruits, yeast, mild sweet malts as well as some slight nuttyness. Flavour is almond mixed with fruits and hops. Wellbalanced.

RBESG08 grand tasting. Nice clear dark amber body with a off white head. Soapy perfumey lemon in the nose. Lovely perfumey maltiness and not much else. Completely one dimensional but ok.
