Bottle 33cl @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008.Clear medium brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lancing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, light to moderate hoppy, notes of smoke. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (160508)

On tap at Århus. A black, clear-looking beer with a small beige to tan head. Sweetish, roasted nose with some coffee aromas. Sweet flavor too, with some sourish notes, roasted malt and licorice. The sourness is almost milk-sour. Quite sweetish finish. Full-bodied. Far from impressive and far from bad. (080516)

Draught at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Black color. It’s a mix of a quite good strong stout (with some body and sweetness) with dirty water (?), mainly the smell. Not the best experience.

Black with a very firm, big and lasting light brown head. Aroma has bacon smoke, licorice, and tar. The smooth, sweetish flavour has notes of licorice, smoke and rope.

Bottle @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Dark color. Quite fruity aroma, blackcurrant. Coffee taste. Decent.

Black with huge brown head. Sweet roasted aroma with caramel and coffee notes. Smoky flavor with roasted malt, coffee and liquerice.

At Beerfestival in Aarhus.Black with creamy beige head,Aroma of tobacco and dry fruits.Flavor is light rosted and smoked a really good Carlsberg.

Aarhus Festival. Tap. black with a brown head. Heavy roasted notes of liquirice & coffee. Smooth & filling body. Light notes of smoke & rye-bread. Pretty nice beer from Carlsberg!

Draught at KØ07. Sourish smoked fish aroma. Very thick mouthfeel. Black colour, small dark brown head. The flavour is quite smokey, with some smoked mackerel.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Very black. Lots of coffee in the nose. Sweet and solidly malty with soilym somewhat syrupy mouthfeel,. Flavour is coffee, licorice, tobacco, coffee, coffee, coffee and coffee. Nothing fancy, just an old school Baltic Porter flavour. What a surprise!
