A classic farmhouse-style Saison brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat and a touch of spelt plus Saaz and Celeia hops, turbocharged courtesy of a generous dry hopping with Calypso.
Very fruity with a juicy bubblegum aroma that breaks down to a cocktail of grapefruit, lemon and pear with banana bread and hints of coconut, clove and white pepper spice. Slightly tart, light in body with a crisp, dry, floral finish and just enough bitterness to balance the sweet fruity character. The Calypso hops are a perfect match for the base beer; amplifying the best bits and creating a deceptively complex and irresistibly drinkable blend of old and new world styles.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM I think. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly sweet with some certain yeast character, a little bubble gum, grass, wheat flakes, lemon peel, biscuits. Light bodied with active carbonation. Decent balance to finish, some grassy hops, more citrus peel, saison yeast, straw, grain husk, more dried wheat. Tasty saison.

Can from Good Spirits, Glasgow. It pours golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, green, tropical vibes, coconut water, pineapple, nectarine, green banana and wheat bread. The taste is fairly crisp, dry, decent snap, pleasing and lingering bitterness, green, weedy, tropical vibes, green banana, coconut water, pineapple, lilt, slightly chalky and some peppery spice with h a short, dry finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent saison with tropical hop character.

Can thanks to Phil. Appearance - cloudy, deep, golden yellow. Creamy, nicely proportioned, white head. Nose - peach, candied orange and light spice. Taste - fresh peach and apricot, dried orange and spicy yeasty notes. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy texture, tangy with the Saison yeast and balanced bitterness on the finish Overall - good.
