50 cl from DeMolen beerstore.

Huge, very dense yellowish head over reddish-amber beer. Very hoppy nose with passion fruitaroma, dry hops (UK and USA), dry cookies. Hoppy flavour with caramel, caramelsyrup, but restrained sweetness, until really warmed up. Quite fruity character. Very burning MF, with quite carbonated beer, medium bodied. Bit of raw tobacco in the aftertaste. Hornbeers are quite restrained, certainly compared to the lot of over-the-top Danish microbrews. Unfortunately, one could also state they are a bit on the "fade" side...

Bottle. A clear, golden beer producing a two finger, off-white head. Fruity nose with a nice maltyness and some caramel. The flavor has a nice bitterness, citrusy, a touch of sourness and some malty sweetness, leading to a malty but mostly bitter finish. Medium, maybe a bit sticky mouthfeel. A nice and balanced beer that could do well as a quencher in the summer time too. 090724
