0.33 l bottle from Portugal. Jet black with thick, beige head. Nose is earthy notes, vanilla, big fruits and some coffe. Its taste is surprisingly fruity, with hints of coffee, faint hoppy bitterness and only moderate vanilla. Light body, average carbo, easily drinkable. Not bad by far, but could easily be much better.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/13C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L276UW3 (BBF: AGO 2018). AROMA: medium-high wild fermentation lactic-like aroma, stale and alcoholic. background medium-low of roasted notes. APPEARANCE: dark brown color with ruby body against light. large light brown head with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with slight notes of lactic acid and low roasted malt background. medium-low body with dry finish. PALATE: low body with excessive carbonation. OVERALL: a Porter infused with bourbon and vanilla with somekind of contamination (obvious from the acidic aroma, overcarb and no body).
