Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very spicy - especially lavender - too much for me. The flavor is sweet - and too spicy - especially lavender, anise, and violets, but also some flowers., leading to a dry finish.

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Brown color with some floaties. Oregano aroma with faint wood hints and some malt. Spicy flavor with oregano and some malt. Medium-bodied.

Thanks thewolf! I understood that this beer is very rare. Amber color, small off-white head. Oregano also here like in the normal version, but not as strong, it has also some vanilla oaky notes. Caramelly palate, herbal, oaky-vanilla flavor. Much better than the normal version ... softier with good vanilla flavors.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is milder spices, more wood and some mellow fruity and spicy notes. Flavour is quite much oregano, yeast, wood and some more spices. Slight notes of alcohol.

Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy amber, rich head. Oaky candyish nose with some vanilla. Sweet and fruity with medium to full boy. As juicy, spicy and unusual as the nonm-oaked version, but the oak adds further complexity and even more confusion. Weird but very good.

Bottled at RBESG 08 ... while sitting next to the brewer (i was unaware of this as i rated it , only discovered afterwards and this is my original unbiased impression ) ... Copper sweet fruity juicy ... very soft ... very fruity little hop ... very tasty

Bottle @ home. [ Courtesy of thewolf ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy spicy - mint ? some needles - Ruth says dentist gas. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
