The fruity and spicy overtones are noticeable from the start on the nose and palate, whilst at the end the sweet, soft orange notes return.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty and slightly hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor. Sweet fruity hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 1 Dec 2007) Amber colour with brief, white head. Malty nose with notes of dark fruit. Malty, fruity taste with dark fruit and hints of dusty hops in the finish. Decent beer, but hardly exciting.

Cask at Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford, 07-10-07 Poured dark golden in colour with a thin white bubbly head. This beer was pleasantly fruity with a nice lacing of sweet malts, tasty and quite full flavoured, but with less bitterness than anticipated.
