Best Bitter. Previously known as Posh Pooch.

Our flagship Bitter pours a rich copper colour with a sweet malt taste and toffee notes. This is perfectly balanced with the hops providing a sharp bitterness, with a strong citrus and tropical fruit aromas.

Bottle from Co-op, Chobham. A dank basement aroma, mixed with flora, caramel and something nutty. It is light copper. Thin bubbly white head. There’s a nutty maltyness I’d associate with a bitter but an orange/tangerine sourness that takes the lead. Irn Bru?! Medium bodied. A hint at watery with a soda carbonation. Low key finish. Pretty decent. Refreshing.

On cask at the Caley Picture House. Appearance - golden with a decent head and a slight haze. Nose - elusive. Maybe some lemon and cereal. Taste - muesli generally. A touch of dry fruit but mostly dry cereal. Palate - light to medium bodied. The texture is a bit crunchy. Dry crunchy finish too. Overall - a bit gnarly but solid enough.
