Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Light to mid-gold, little to no visible carbonation or head. Grainy aroma with a note of buttered toast and orange marmalade. Basic but enjoyable bittersweet taste with a sulphurous note gaining momentum toward the finish. Fuller, thicker mouthfeel than would normally be expected of this ABV and style. Tasty all in all.

(Cask at Oakdale Arms, Harringay, London, 24 April 2008) Dark amber colour with brief, white head. Suspiciously cloudy. Fruity nose with notes of orange peel and earthy, slightly citrussy hops. Fruity taste with citrus, nuts, toffee and balanced amounts of earthy hops in the moderately bitter finish. Light body. Decent session beer, but hardly exciting.
