500 ml bottle sampled in 2008. Pale golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma is overwhelming heather honey, no place for anything else. The same goes for the flavor, intense honey all the way. If you’re brewing beer with honey and not mead I expect something more than honey. Fat, sticky sweet body and aftertaste…… honey.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of honey and light notes of heather. The flavor is sweet with notes of dusty hops and honey as well as light notes of heather. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is honey, heather, malt. Flavour is sweet, honey, heather, malt, floral. I´m influenced by the fact that i don´t like honey and this beer had too much for me.

Bottle. It pours a clear golden body under a small white head. Heavy on heather honey in the aroma, with some malt and a floral touch. I’m quite fond of heather honey, but I find the level in the aroma of this beer to be too high, it’s more or less hiding it’s beery qualities. The same problem is present in the flavor, but not to the same level. There’s some more malt detected, and it has a decent bitterness. Else it’s honey and a little floral touch, as well as sweetness. Medium body. Sweet, honeyish finish. I’m not very impressed with this one, but at least it’s drinkable, and it’s a bold move from the brewery. (080814)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Bottle #0669. Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Distinct honey aroma - more than in any mead I’ve had! Medium-bodied with sweetish malt and distinct and very sweet honey notes with a floral touch. No bitterness. 220608

Bottle @ Thisted Tasting by Maria.. Clear light yellow color with a small, virtually none appearance, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is honey, heather honey, dust. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (120408)
