Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla.
Full bodied and complex, sweet, followed by and explosion of flavours.

nice cloudy golden color.
aroma is of ripe fruit, spice and yeast.
Flavour is spicy, and lots of the typical unibroue yeast. a very nice belgian ale, on par with their other efforts.

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur cuivrée voilée, mousse beige pâle. Arôme de levure, floral. Goût de levure, malt, épices. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange-amber with large foamy off-white head, earthy aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter spicy taste with earthy flavors, somewhat thick body, long bitter finish. Nice brew.

Bottle - Caramel, banana, orange and yeast on the nose. Clear dark copper with a bubbly white head. Cloves dominate with other spices, dark malts and caramel with a yeasty finish. A little over carbonated, but I love cloves and would drink again and again.

Poured from 341mL bottle. Orange-brown colour with full white head. Malty spice aroma (very typical Unibroue). Frothy texure, belgian yeast flavour with some spice, but pretty mild. Not a ton of complexity going on here.

750ml corked Unibroue bottle. Has an orange-bright gold body with minimal carbonation and an okay but not very dense antique white head. Aroma is typical Belgian ale coriander and malt sweetness. Flavour is heavy coriander with a hint of swampiness and a bitter finish. A bit of a harsher style Belgian ale than I expected but definitely drinkable.

Nice drink. Floral hops and the classic universe yeast. Pours cloudy orange some lacing and head. Nice soft carbonation. Finished a little boozy with some booze and Oaky resin. Good complex palate with citrus and what tastes like thyme or something. On tap at volos.

Bouteille 750ml. De couleur orangée et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (agrumes, pêches, notes de pommes vertes, faibles notes de bananes) et épicées (clou de girofle, léger de coriandre et de poivre), malté de caramel doux sucré avec des notes de pain, d’alcool doux et de houblon herbeux. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-élevé et une texture légèrement crémeuse. Goût de levures fruitées très légèrement acides (agrumes sucrées, léger de pêches, notes de pommes vertes et de bananes) et épicées (clou de girofle, léger de poivre, traces de coriandre) avec des traces de vanille lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel moyennement sucré avec des petites notes de toffee rôti conjointement à un léger goût d’alcool doux puis en finale l’on retrouve également un léger goût amer de houblon floral et herbeux. Post-goût moyen-long et un moyennement sec, léger-moyen amer d’alcool doux, de houblon floral, de levures fruitées (zeste d’agrumes, pelures de pommes) aux notes épicées (poivre doux). (2005)
