Poured into a mug, the appearance was a dark brown color with a nice finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Semi-foamy rings of lace form around the glass.
The aroma had some nutty sweet and toasty malts. Some dried chocolate malts and a touch of earthiness and grassiness.
The flavor smoothly enriches the sweet to the roastiness and brings in a subtle bitterness of some coffee beans. Earthy and grassy hops kindly move into the background. The aftertaste blends the sweet and roastiness of nuts, malts and grassy hops. Quick dry grassy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Moveable on my tongue with an appropriate ABV and good carbonation.
Overall, pretty good brown ale that I could come back to if I saw it.

A clear reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light maple notes, woody, so-so. In mouth, a sweetish nutty malt with no hops, watery, boring. On tap at brewery.

12oz bottle pours clear mahogany with copper – amber hues and lasting tan head. The aroma offers up ample amounts of toffee, roasted malts and earthiness mixing together very nicely. The taste begins with a brief straight up maltiness and is quickly joined by sweet toffee candy, some roasted malts, a pleasing dank earthiny maltiness and just a kiss of sweet dark fruity esters. Wow! This is scratching me right where I itch. Hits the spot for sure. Nice!
