Batch no. 102, brewed in Oct. 07, 500ml bottle by courtesy of Knut Albert. Pours a crystal clear, rosewood body under a thin ring of bubbles. Rather tranquil aroma of sweet, nutty malts. The flavour has got more to offer, starting with roasted dark malts followed by raisin and blackcurrant, and finally developing into a dry, bitter ending of liquorice. Medium bodied. Pleasurable [enjoying the Yuletide mood on a dark eve at home in TromsΓΈ, 26.12.2008].

Bottle, 4.5%, batch#102. Roasted aroma, farty fruitiness, hint of raw liquorice. Hazy dark red colour. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour is quite roasted, hint of fruit. Thin mouthfeel. Dry roasted finish with raw liquorice aftertaste.

Bottle @ Cnudde Tasting.. Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, spicy, odd - difficult to describe. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Maria. Clear, orangey brown with a beige head. Weird and very unpleasant sewage aroma. Rather thin-bodied with burned, malty accents. Some bitterness. Flawed and unpleasant. 290308

Hazy red brown beer with a lasting tan head. Bready malt, with a touch of roast, coming together in a rather odd way. Malty sweet flavour with tart and astringent notes.
