Bottle. Orange, grapefruit and grassy hops aroma. Medium yellow amber color with small head. Sweet orange malt flavor up front with a metallic pine hops finish. A good beer - I guess though for a beer honoring the great Frank Zappa, I would have expected something more obscure and unexpected. Still, a nice memorial.

Cloudy orange, off white head...mildly hoppy aroma, faint malts, delicate lacing forming....hoppy flavor, a typical IPA......7.8% well disguised though...just ok

From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 19. Pours golden yellow, clear, with a lacing white head. Strong grapefruit aroma with a sweet maltbase. Peachy and slight herbal malty too. Flavour is dry fruity, with a mild grainy note. Ends bitter and dry. Slight woody finish.

Another expensive Lag bomber from Bottle Barn $2.59! nose of very piney hops; clear dark gold with a medium, quckly disapated off-white head; flavor of pine sap with medium bitterness.

22 oz bottle. Pours a golden yellow color with a nice medium-thick head. Aroma is sweet malts with a strong presence of hops. Flavor is a strong hop and citrus flavor, with a notable presence of malts. The beer itself is quite bitter, which wraps up this beer quite nicely.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Clear, golden with an off-white head. Fresh, hoppy aroma of pine needles and peaches. Medium-bodied and extremely dry with a rather downplayed malt base. The bitterness is very distinct but fresh, fruity and floral. 021107

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty - and really nothing else - a bit boring. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, as well as a light spicy hoppyness. It gains in complexity when it warms up, but never impresses me.

Bomber pours clear deep gold with inch and a half white head. The mild aroma is sweet malts, hints of pineapple, floral hops and a pinch of citrus. The flavor begins smooth and soon becomes malt sweetness mixed smoothly with floral hops. Very smooth with hints of sweet citrus hops. Easy drinking 7.8% ABV brew with tasty malts and mild floral hops riding into the after taste with a hint of toffee in tow.

Bright golden-amber. Tangerines and apricots on the nose alongside wildflower honey. Fairly crisp hops, clean pale malts with a nectarine and pear fruitiness. Fairly dry, with a subtle alcoholic bite that blends with the lemony hop character. Retains a bit of that signature Lagunitas sweetness at the back. I like it better when I think of it as a random strong ale than an IPA.

Clear gold,fast fading white head. Great citrus hop nose.Floral hop profile, just enough malt, citrus huge bitter finish. Piney green hop overtones Very nice !!
