Mix of two of the Kapittels, refermented in the bottle together; also tasted as Cuvée Hommelhof. Hazy peach blonde colour, thick creamy head; fruity aroma of apricot, pear, apple, hay, caramel, white candi sugar, gin, bread, hazelnuts; fruity taste, soft maltiness, spicy yeasty notes, mild herbal hop bitterness and warming alcohol in the finish.

Milder Hopfenantrunk, der sofort eine unangenehme Säuerlichkeit aufweist, zusätzlich herb angehaucht. Sark CO2 haltig, dafür aber sehr aromenschwach. 8/6/7/6//6

On tap at ZBF 08. Clear gold, with thin beige head. Belgian yeasty aroma. Reasonably characterful. Better than the standard of this style.

Blond, hazy body. Off-white creamy/rocky head. Quite weak, hoppy aroma of flowers. Heavily bitte, lightly sweet flavour. Quite 1 dimensional on the bitterness. Could be better. Not too well balanced.

Yet they swear it’s not the same as the Cuvée Hommelhof... Orange to amber, virtually no head. Very alcoholic nose, dry white sugar, touch fruity. Bit of caramel, notes of white bread, alcohol, white candi sugar flavour. Roasted too, but restrained. Treacherously light MF, alcoholburn is the only warning about its potency. Some mix. Still I wonder under which names it has been around before.
