Polytope is the next beer in our Nth dimension series of quadruple IPAs, and this beer is big! The robust body from golden promise malt and oats makes it able to carry some serious dry hopping of Sabro, Citra, and HBC 1019 hops. We then gave it a long conditioning time for a juicy sensation without the green character often associated with big beers and big dry hops.

YG 151123. Golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is oranges, pine, grapefruit, alcohol. Flavor is oranges , pine, grapefruit, alcohol, herbs, tropical fruit, citrus. Strong beer.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes shared at a session with Synny, lmojoh, and Finn. Hazy golden body under a patchy surface, dotted spots on the glass. Grassy hops on the nose with tropical scents. Wheat fruity flavours, moments of herbal hops and citrus, and added by a note of anis. Mid-sweet hop fruity end with warmth from the alcohol. Well bodied and tasty, quite heavy to drink though. Can. A hazy orange colored beer with a golden tint- and a small white head. Some lacing. The aroma is herbal and alcoholic, with orange zest, grapefruit notes and some generic tropical fruityness. It's full-bodied, warming and very softly carbonated. Sweet, but not too sweet. Gentle bitterness. Citrusy, herbal and lightly alcoholic flavor with orange liqueur, grass notes, generic tropical fruit and some pale malt notes. Long fruity finish. The alcohol isn't playing as big a role as expected, besides that it's just a beer in the crowd. 231115

8-4-7-4-16 Can, #593, 2,5 weeks after canning. Pours hazy dark yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is sweet tropical hops with mango, papaya and stone fruits, as well as citrusy notes and oaty minerals. Full, creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet tropical hops of mango, papaya, over ripe apricots and citrusy marmeladeas well as malts with honey and oaty minerals.
