From cask at Charlies. Pours dark brown to black with a lasting tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malt. Dry malty flavour with a light acidic note. Light roasted note from the malt and a rather mild one. Roasted malt finish. Amazingly flavourful for 3%. Welldone.

Cask Conditioned at the Wenlock Arms, 30/1/08. Near black with a tight off-white head. Malt and roasty aroma. Flavour had some chocolate, doughiness and a slightly salty finish. An enjoyable change with plenty to offer for such a low strength beer.
