Cask at the Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Pours pale amber with a lasting bubbly off white head. Aroma is light floral, hoppy, caramel and fruity notes Medium sweetness, moderate but sharp bitterness. Quite light bodied, slight sticky texture. This is a nice light very drinkable floral fruity bitter

Cask pint in the sun trap that is the front patio of The Barking Smack on Great Yarmouth seafront: 8th June 2014. Nice easy drinking session ale, amber with a white lasting head. Slightly more malty than hoppy but the blend is well balanced with only the finish being hoppy and drying. I like Grain breweries beers in general and this follows that pattern.

Market Porter, Borough 4 Nov 12. Lys gyldenbrun. Lavt skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Svak fruktaroma. Smaken er druer og litt syrlig frukt etter hvert.

Half pint shared with Finn. Cask at Market Porter, Borough. Copper-amber body, dotted spots at the glassware. Smell of wood and mid-sweet malts. Malt-fruity taste. Restrained, dry bitter ending. Easy to quaff. Unvaried (London, 04.11.2012).
