Bottle probably from Drove Orchards. Clear pale copper colour. Suds of sticky off white foam. Nose has buttery malts. Wort. Some leaf mulch. Taste is semi sweet with a moderate bitterness. Slick and mostly flat. Dry thin watery finish. Crap.

50cl bottle from the Mad Squirrel Shop, Chesham. A clear pale amber pour with a fast fading white head; malty aroma with a slight sourness; thin in the mouth with a rather sugary, fruity malt taste; light herbal bitterness and a biscuity finish. A tasty bitter.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 20 April 2017) Pale amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, orange peel and a touch of caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange peel, toast and a balanced citric, slightly earthy, bitterness. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
