A light coloured, moreish ale brewed with the finest Maris Otter and Crystal malts. A hint of torrified wheat is added producing a satisfying and complex flavour. A fresh dry aftertaste is supported by a fairly hoppy character.

Cask at Blackfriars, Aberdeen. It pours golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is sweet malt, pear, tinned nectarine and a touch of spice. The taste is sweet malt, melon, pear, white grape and white sugar, with a short, dry finish. Light body, little/no carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Bit too sweet and boring.

Pigs Ear Festival, Hackney. A very light bitter. Easy drinking but utterly standard stuff.

Cask at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford, 20-12-07 Light amber with some haze some fruits on the nose and in the mouth but methinks that this was just starting to get a bit tired, just ok really.

Gravity at the Pig’s Ear Beer festival 4/12/207. Sold under the ’Traditional Scottish Ales’ tag. Copper coloured Christmas beer. Aroma had plenty of cinnamon spice and some fruitiness. The flavour had some malt, plenty more spice and a decent bitter finish. Good as a one off.
