On handpull at The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool, 28-11-08. Pours dark, dark brown with creamy head. This is a nice easy drinking stout, sweet but also quite dry. A tasty stout really quite enjoyable. A6 A4 F6 P3 OV 14 3.3

Cask, Fly in the loaf, Liverpool. Deep dark brown colour with a lingering medium tan head. Roasted malt, licorice and coffee notes in the aroma and flavour. Slipped down nice n’smooth. Slight sourness in there. Dryish finish. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A pitch black beer with no head. The aroma is sweet roasted, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry end.

(Cask at Baltic Fleet, Liverpool, 24 July) Colour is pitch black with a firm beige head. Nose is roasted with freshly ground coffee and a fresh, citrussy hop aroma. Taste is roasted with black coffee or strong espresso, dark bitter chocolate, a hint of soy sauce or oyster sauce and a hoppy finish. Very fresh hop taste (dry hopped?). Lovely stout.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Black colour with no head. Chocolatey stout. Great stout, bit of sour, but well balanced, not powdery. Excellent stout and my first dark beer from this brewer.
