Hooked On Superdelic is the latest addition to our single-hop DDH IPA series. Our first use of Superdelic did not disappoint. The aroma bursts from the glass, showcasing a wide range of fruits, from red candies to freshly squeezed orange juice that will knock your socks off. It's all bark and all bite as the flavour hits your taste buds—dank, tropical, and possessing a keen bitterness to balance the sweetness.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Fluffy pale malts, slightly thin, a decent creamy sweetness delivered. The wonderfully named Superdelic is skunkier here than in any other beer I have tasted it in. A little nibbly hop spice. Smooth cooling pine into juicy citrus, touch of lemon in there. Maybe a touch of floral tropical fruits. Light smooth finish brings a bolder hop spice. Finally as the beer warms up from chilly fridge temp, we get some light diagnostic red berry candy. Light crisp finish leaves a mild hop spicy linger. Good but not quite the benchmark showcase for this hop I was hoping for. Many other brewers have brought out the unique character of this hop a bit better than here. Good hop spice and good skunk but, then many hops exhibit the same character don't they? Good but the weakest offering in the 'hooked' series so far.
