Bottled. A gusher when opened. A murky orange beer with lots of sediment floating around under a lazing tan head with small specks of sediment. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of oranges and caramel, but also a light plastic note. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices, caramel, and oranges, leading to a dry spicy finish, the spices include cinnamon and cloves. Drunk a month prior to the best before date - should probably have a shorter best before date on it, since I think the gushing is due to too much refermentation in the bottle.

Bottle. Unclear light to medium amber color with a huge, frothy, excellent lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, hay, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, peper, spices, pepper. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, and a nice dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is lively to soft. (171107)

Bottled, 75cl. Amber, with lots of micro-floaties and a nice beige head. Roasted, spiced, malty, sweet aroma with caramel. The flavor and finish is more on the hoppy side, with spicyness and caramel as well. It has a medium to full body. Nice italian!. (061229

Draught. Weak hay aroma. Very cloudy red/brown colour, small head. Solid, creamy mouthfeel. OK flavour, yeasty and malty. Nicely balanced with pepper notes and aroma hoppiness. Unfortunately finishes with a rubbery feeling.

750 ml bottle. Reddish with floaters and a beige head. Hoppy aroma. Really nice, harmonic flavor. Hops and spices with a sweet and malty finish. A beer with a true warming Christmas feeling.

(Bottle 75 cl) Clear, orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Lightly spicy, sweetish caramel nose. Quite full-bodied with sweetish malty and lightly medicinal, herbal accents with a distinct, underlying sweetness. Ends fairly dry though. 281006
